Our law firm consists of trial lawyers who serve both individual and corporate clients. That diversity of experience means we understand both sides of a case well — and we fight hard for every client who has retained our services.

Our lawyers regularly present seminars and papers on a variety of legal issues. Further, many of our attorneys have been honored by their peers. Several of our firm’s attorneys have been certified as Civil Trial Specialists by the Tennessee Commission on Continuing Legal Education and Specialization, while three of our lawyers are listed as Tennessee Supreme Court Rule 31 Mediators. A number of our attorneys have also been admitted to practice before the United States Supreme Court, recognized by the International Society of Barristers, and/or have been selected by their peers as Mid-South Super Lawyers, Top Lawyers in the City of Knoxville, and for membership in the Litigation Counsel of America.

Butler, Vines and Babb employs a Medical Doctor as a medical consultant. He reviews medical issues in cases for both plaintiffs and defendants. Very few law firms are able to provide this type of service.
