Like most of the Delegatus lawyers, Pascale Pageau started her practice in a large firm where she worked alongside amazing mentors and where she was able to experience life as a professional with means. Eating at chefs’ tables, taking trips... up to this point, the work hard, play harder lifestyle was perfect for her!

A new reality

It was only after the birth of her first child, and the anticipation of her second in 2005, that things started to change. Her commitment to being a great mom no longer fit with her high ambitions at work. She was torn. She felt guilty when away from work and guilty when away from home. At that point in time, she was no longer happy as a mother and as a lawyer. She had always dreamed of becoming a partner in a large firm… but at what price?

It starts with a dream

Pascale started dreaming of a different, more agile business model. A model that could satisfy the most demanding business clients while also respecting the ambitions of freedom-hungry lawyers like her. Determined to find a solution, she consulted lawyers in other firms, lawyers in companies, as well as several entrepreneurs and other business clients. She asked them two simple questions: If they could completely reimagine law services and law firms… what would they do differently? What would make them happy? As a lawyer? As a client? And she listened.

Delegatus was born by listening to others

Together, they reinvented the structure of the traditional law firm. They developed a unique business model for lawyers who want to become masters of their practice. A win-win model that gives us all the right to be truly happy. A model for both succeeding in life and living life.

Encouraging recognition, then innovation and evolution

Pascale wins the Young Professionals of Quebec Award as part of the provincial contest Arista - Bank of Montreal sponsored by the Young Chamber of Commerce of Montreal. A stimulating recognition that propels Delegatus towards a promising future!
