Overview
When Herrig, Vogt & Hensley (previously Herrig & Vogt) was first founded in 1994, our focus was in construction law matters including contract review, dispute resolution, claims preparation and defense, and everything in between. While construction litigation remains a vital part of our firm, in 2003 we expanded our practice areas to better serve the needs of both individuals and businesses. Our services now include family law, estate & probate, business law, real estate law, and personal injury. We fight to protect the professional and economic assets of our clients, while preserving their personal rights and welfare. We are based in the greater Sacramento area but serve clients throughout California.
Our clients include professionals, families, and business owners facing complex legal issues that affect personal investments, legal rights, and potentially staggering liabilities. It is our aim to help our clients obtain a favorable resolution while mitigating the costly, interruptive, and frustrating effects that legal processes can have on their lives. We are prepared to face adversaries of all sizes with confidence and determination. When faced with a pressing legal issue or dispute, it is important to work with a team of attorneys that you can trust to provide personal service, clear guidance, reliable counsel, and proven results.
Whenever possible, we seek to reach a negotiated settlement to our clients' cases through alternative dispute resolution strategies such as mediation and arbitration. If this is not an option, however, we are ready to take the matter to court in pursuit of relief including an injunction and payment of damages and civil penalties, as appropriate. It has always been our mission to provide effective advocacy for all of our clients.
