Overview
Krauss Shaknes Tallentire & Messeri LLP is dedicated exclusively to the practice of matrimonial and family law. Our attorneys are leaders in their field and have been involved in some of the highest-profile matrimonial law disputes in New York State and Connecticut. We are often called upon to advise high-net-worth and celebrity clients in sensitive and complex family matters.
We represent clients in all aspects of matrimonial and family law, including divorce proceedings, custody disputes, and pre-nuptial and post-nuptial agreements. We have particular experience in:

We also represent clients in highly contested interstate and international custody disputes, including proceedings under the UCCJEA and The Hague Convention on the Civil Aspects of International Child Abduction. Our attorneys have achieved landmark victories in federal district and appellate courts. Among other successes, we have created significant new law protecting the interests of parents and children suffering from domestic violence.
