Our Indianapolis law office has served clients since 1937.

Although we have moved locations and expanded our practice over the decades, our commitment to carrying forward our founders’ vision remains unchanged. We provide cost-conscious legal services to clients in the Indianapolis area while maintaining a professional and ethical approach.

Kroger, Gardis & Regas, LLP serves businesses and financial institutions throughout central Indiana. Our practice includes commercial law, bankruptcy, real estate, business, tax, and labor law, with services provided from our Indianapolis headquarters.

Over the years, our Indianapolis office has also expanded its services to address the distinct needs of Indiana’s municipalities and political subdivisions. We work with numerous governmental units as general and special counsel, and we consult with other political subdivisions and their general counsel on specific or complex matters.

KGR’s current team includes three attorneys who are also engineers: partners Brian Bosma, Greg Cafouros, and Ted Nolting.

Partners James Knauer and Stephen Peters were selected for inclusion in America’s 100 Bet-the-Company Litigators list. Melissa Hamer-Bailey was named a Rising Star by Super Lawyers for 2025.

Several KGR attorneys, including partners David Wright, Kevin Koons, Steve Runyan, and Melissa McCarty, have received Martindale-Hubbell’s AV Preeminent Rating© based on evaluations by their peers.

Partner Bill Bock has represented clients in significant sports law matters. He served as lead counsel for the United States Anti-Doping Agency (USADA) during its investigation into the use of performance-enhancing drugs by Lance Armstrong. For his work on that matter, Bill was named a 2012 “Lawyer of the Year” by Law Week Colorado.
