Overview
In 1950, two World War II veterans and young attorneys, Herb Lacy and Leon Katzen had a vision - to create a full-service regional law firm that represented each client with unmatched advocacy. They also believed in a philosophy - that being a good lawyer goes beyond the knowledge of the law and must include a dedication and caring for the clients being served. This philosophy is what brought Herb and Leon together more than 70 years ago and continues to be their legacy to the firm and its clients today.

Lacy Katzen represented my mother in 2017 and did an amazing job helping to get her affairs in order and preserve her assets. Since I already was aware of their professionalism, strong work ethic, compassion, and understanding of the Medicaid system, I returned to their practice to help my husband and me as duel health issues arose. Their attention to detail and patience with our confusing and what appeared to be complicated paperwork was exemplary. We went to them to redo our wills. Lacy Katzen ended up helping to place my husband in a nursing home and getting him on Medicaid. Then helping me to organize our finances and setting up a trust.
