Attorney Joe Sam Owen has over 40 years of experience representing clients in the Gulf Coast region of Mississippi. Our Partner Joel Smith previously served as the elected District Attorney and as a Judge on the Mississippi Court of Appeals presiding over thousands of cases that came from all 82 counties in Mississippi, including complex civil litigation to high-profile criminal cases.

Our areas of practice cover a diverse range of legal fields. The majority of our practice is devoted to personal injury cases in Gulfport and Biloxi involving medical negligence, auto accidents, product liability, and more. In the past few years we have seen a dramatic increase in the number of hurricane-related lawsuits, including bad faith insurance denials and negligence claims stemming from hurricane clean-up injuries. We also handle litigation and appeals and white collar criminal defense cases.
