My wife and I were unfortunately in a motorcycle accident which ended with a below-the-knee amputation of my left leg. We were riding through an intersection when the driver of a car to our left didn't yield the right of way and hit us. Fortunately, my wife was able to walk away from the accident with minor injuries.
