I am both an attorney and a registered nurse and have over 25 years of combined medical and legal experience. Over the course of my career, I have had the true privilege and honor of representing and vigorously defending hundreds of health care providers including nurses, nurse practitioners, physicians, physical therapists, mental health counselors, and pharmacists, from all over Virginia, in licensing and discipline matters before their respective licensing Boards. My representation spans the full spectrum of the Board disciplinary process, including complaints, investigations, and hearings, as well as applications for initial licensure, and applications for reinstatement after discipline. I truly understand how traumatic a Board investigation can be, and the potentially devastating impact it can have on the licensee’s emotional, financial, personal, and professional life, and I strive to provide excellence in advocacy in all aspects of every case to achieve the best resolution possible.
