The Maher Law Firm was founded in 1969 by senior partner Michael Maher. Our mission - then and now - is to vigorously represent and protect injury and negligence victims, helping people who have encountered tragedy and sudden changes in their lives win legal settlements for their loss and suffering. The firm specializes in personal injury, wrongful death, nursing home, medical negligence,product liability and patent trademark and unfair competition.
Over the years, Maher Law Firm attorneys have handled numerous precedent-setting lawsuits including complex and unique automobile cases, products and premises liability, medical negligence, insurance contract and theme park litigation, with many settlements in the millions of dollars and, in the lead role we played in the State of Florida’s case against Big Tobacco, in the multibillion-dollar range.
