Forman Watkins proudly celebrates over 32 years of serving our clients. We officially opened for business on December 8, 1986, with the idea that we could create a firm that would be different from others not only in how we approached the practice of law, but also in the work environment for everyone who chose to work with us. We have grown today beyond our Jackson, Mississippi, office to become a national firm with five offices across the country. Experience, innovation and creativity are the cornerstones of the firm's approach to litigation.

I am a full-time mediator based in San Antonio, Texas. Thank you for visiting my website and for taking the time to learn more about my background and approach.
In late 2021, I stepped away from an active trial practice—and occasional service as a mediator—that I had maintained for more than 33 years to establish a full-time mediation practice. Over the last 20+ years of that work, a running joke among colleagues was, “What type of trouble are you dealing with this time?” That comment reflected the wide range of matters I handled. I frequently worked on cases involving death and serious injury, including product liability claims, while also maintaining an active docket of commercial, real estate, construction, and insurance disputes. My work in these areas led to listings under Product Liability and Commercial Litigation by Best Lawyers in America and recognition in a poll of San Antonio attorneys published in Scene in SA magazine. Whether right or wrong, I have always believed that this variety encouraged continuous learning and helped me avoid becoming too comfortable. It also offered meaningful perspective on addressing the complex issues parties face in litigation, including identifying paths to resolution, anticipating challenges, and developing practical ways to move past them.
Most cases resolve before trial. From that standpoint, the ability to guide parties toward resolution is just as important as trial experience, even though it often receives less attention. Looking back, I am grateful that clients frequently commented on my approach to resolving disputes. Assisting parties in reaching resolution is work I value deeply, and it is now my sole professional focus. I welcome the opportunity to serve as your mediator and to help facilitate a process aimed at achieving resolution and finality in a setting where you and your clients remain in control of the outcome.
